punched in and the E.R. was calling
They had a patient that was about to kick the bucket
They were on a mission to break a tube record
But I thought no way with all this raucous
But after 1 patient intubated
I thought I was just getting back on my feet
And after 2 patients intubated
The bar was sounding pretty darn good to me
Then some Doctor asked me to bag
And I revealed to him my treatment sheet
Said don’t get me wrong I’m glad you asked
But tonight needs to be an old memory
Then after 3 patients intubated
I wished I was back on the floor
And after 4 patients intubated
They were coming up with trays never seen before
Well tube 5
or tube 6
I forgot why I came on this shift
And after patient 7 or was it 8
I lost track of all those trays
And after 9 patients intubated
I was worn down and about to give in
And after 10 patients intubated
I lost count and started counting again
One patient intubated
Gimme two patients intubated
How about three patients intubated |
